Stephen Dent – President Of Dent Inc

Posted by admin | January 27th, 2010

Stephen Dent founded private equity and investment banking firm Dent Inc in 1986 following successful stints with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and Company, and Rosenkranz and Company as well as graduation from Harvard University with a BA and an MBA. He calls upon all of this experience as well as a natural thirst for hard work during his role as company president of Dent Inc; a role which sees him overseeing all investment associated with the company including the creation and management of their general investment strategy and each individual investment in the company’s portfolio.

While studying at Harvard University, Stephen Dent worked for three years within PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where he began to develop an obvious thirst for the finance, mergers, and acquisitions field of business. This thirst was further driven by a period within the mergers and acquisitions team of Morgan Stanley Dean Witter & Company. His talent for private investment was further developed working with private equity and investment firm Rosenkranz and Company; whom he left in 1986 in order to establish Dent Inc.

As company president of Dent In, Stephen Dent is personally responsible for overseeing all of the investment activities of the company. This not only means formulating the overall investment strategy of the company but also means overseeing each of the individual investments within the company portfolio. When Stephen Dent isn’t busy in this major role for Dent Inc he also enjoys indulging his major love of marine life, an interest that has grown since their first introduction as a small boy during a visit to Hawaii.
